Last fall I made a pecha kucha (lightning round) presentation at the conference of the Kansas Library Association College and University Libraries Section. This week I was notified that the proceedings have been released in open access. My presentation, entitled "Following the Evidence: Approaches to Assessment in Academic Libraries," described 9 library assessment projects that I've been involved in at Liberty University in recent years. I hope that other libraries can benefit from seeing how we've progressed in our assessment activities. I continue to experiment with data collection, analysis, and visualization, so I'd probably make a different presentation now than I did last fall. The "Resources for Library Assessment" section on pages 106-08 will provide a good introduction to the field for those that haven't explored it very deeply.
